Meet the Animals
Obviously a farm should have animals and we at Hurst Farm are no different. We have our very own 'Pets Corner' where you're welcome to meet some of our friendliest animals, all with their own unique personalities.

Colleen the Cow
(DOB 01-05-01)
Orphaned as a calf Colleen was hand reared from 2 weeks old. She is very friendly and especially enjoys a good tickle and a brush.

Sage & Onion
(DOB 31-08-99)
These rare breed Kune Kune pigs were originally bred as grazing pigs in New Zealand, they also make excellent pets due to their friendly temperament, lovable nature and their ability to eat anything!

| Hens
These free range hens are a variety of species and frequently lay eggs. One of the hens is a particularly special - Beryl, she's a bit of a loner and occasionally thinks she's a goat!!

The family have always has an interest in horses & ponies, and all year round it is possible to meet them at the gates. They are always on the look out for sugar lumps and other tit bits!

Ken, Mike and Diedre

Three lovable pygmy goats named after Coronation Street's finest, each with their own mischievous characters. You'll find these 3 tear-away spend more time out of the field than in and regularly escape to eat the cottage flowers.
